About

I am a political scientist specializing in regulation, governance, and public policy, a Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Fellow at LMU Munich, and package leader in the EU Horizon Europe (2021–2027) SUPA project at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Previously, I have been a member of the ERC advanced research project REGTRUST, and a PhD Researcher at the Department of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where I conducted research on regulatory discretion using computational text analysis tools.

My dissertation examined how legislatures shapes the discretion of bureaucrats to create regulations and how the latter eventually make regulations. Through this investigation, I uncovered the complex dynamics between legislative bodies and non-elected bureaucrats in making regulations.
My work has been published in several journals, including Perspective on Politics, Public Administration, Regulation & Governance, and Law & Policy.

In recognition of this work, I have received two international awards for early career scholars: the 2023 Giandomenico Majone Prize in the field of regulation and the 2022 Rudolph Wildenmann Prize in political science.
